Ruby is the Vice President, Disinterestedness and Local Arts Engagement for Americans for the Arts. Her portfolio includes external equity strategies and field education, leadership development, local arts advocacy, and cohort building for the local arts bureau field, arts and culture administrators, and arts marketers. She is the master builder of the National Arts Marketing Projection Conference. She was selected as a 2019 Arizona State University Practices for Change Fellow. She was recognized as an 2019 Inspirational Woman (Arts Advocate) past "And I Idea" Women in Literature. She is a steering committee member for the National Coalition on Arts Preparedness and Emergency Response, serves equally Chair of the Gard Foundation, serves on the board for the Arts and Humanities Quango of Montgomery County (Grants Commission/Advancement Committee) and serves on the WETA Community Informational Council.
Scarlet's piece of work has focused on equitable access, grantmaking, supporting individual artists, community development, economic development, cultural tourism, marketing and public art. She draws on a varied background that includes corporate affairs, community relations, volunteerism, employee engagement, marketing and communications, and business organisation administration. She served on the Emerging Leaders Council for Americans for the Arts, was the primary contact for the Arts and Economic Impact Study for Primal Ohio and recently served as a mentor with Arts Administrators of Color DMV. She is a 2017 National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures Advocacy Leadership Establish Fellow, Form of 2017 American Express Leadership Academy Alum and Form of 2010 Next Generation of Leaders Fellowship programme.
Barbara Davis
Chief Operating Officer, The Actors Fund
Barbara Davis has been with The Actors Fund since 1984. As Chief Operating Officer, she oversees the intersection of administration, finance, advancement and programs including social services, health care, workforce development for The Fund'south iii offices in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, and at its supportive housing residences in Manhattan, Brooklyn and W Hollywood, as well as at the assisted-living and nursing care dwelling in New Jersey. Ms. Davis is Co-Chair of the Housing, Health and Human Services Committee and serves on the Land Utilise Committee for Manhattan Community Board #4. Ms. Davis is Vice President of the Waldman Foundation, a member of the World of Work Advisory Committee at Columbia University School of Social Piece of work and serves as an advisor for the Louis Armstrong Middle for Music and Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York Metropolis. Ms. Davis has her BA in Psychology from American Academy, a Masters Degree in Social Work from Columbia Academy and has completed the Columbia University Graduate Schoolhouse of Concern Institute for Not-for-Profit Management Executive and Leadership Programs.

Randy Engstrom
Manager, Office of Arts and Civilisation for the City of Seattle
Randy Engstrom has been a passionate abet and organizer of cultural and community development for over 15 years. He is currently the Director of the Function of Arts and Civilisation for the City of Seattle. Equally Director of the Office, he has expanded their investments in granting programs and Public Fine art, while establishing new programs and policies in arts education, cultural space affordability, and racial equity. Most recently he owned and operated Reflex Strategies, a cultural and community based consulting business that worked with foundations, non-profits, and local government. He served as Chair of the Seattle Arts Committee in 2011 subsequently serving 2 years as Vice-Chair, and was Chair of the Facilities and Economic Evolution Committee from 2006 to 2010. Previously he served as the Founding Director of the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, a multimedia/multidisciplinary community space that offers youth and community member's access to arts, technology, and cultural resources (www.youngstownarts.org). Prior to Youngstown, Randy spent 3 years every bit the Founding CEO of Static Manufacturing plant Media, an artist evolution organization that endemic and operated a tape label, bar/performance venue, graphic design firm, recording studio, and web development business. Ashley Walden Davis
Managing director of Strategic Partnerships, Alternate ROOTS
Ashley Walden Davis is the Director of Strategic Partnerships of Alternate ROOTS, a Southern based regional arts service organisation with 44 years of history. As a fellow member-driven national resources for artists and cultural organizers, we seek to champion social and economical justice and the piece of work of people in our field. She currently oversees the grantmaking and foundation fundraising for the organization. Ashley'southward piece of work places a great emphasis on strengthening the network of artists, communities, regional and national partnerships in support of a progressive southern motion.
Ashley, a Northward Carolina native, is an arts manager with an affinity for working with community. She is the Chair of the Lath of Directors of C4 Atlanta that supports the development of business acumen in artists entrepreneurs. Ashley is also a founding leader of the Next Generation National Arts Network, a coalition of artists and administrators from beyond the United States who accept set out to nautical chart the grade for being the future leaders of the arts field.
She holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Producing from the California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies from One-time Dominion University. Ashley previously worked with Cornerstone Theater Visitor, Hartbeat Ensemble, Towne Street Theater, Arena Stage, Virginia Stage Company and Elizabeth River Theater Company and served on the Board of Directors of Appalshop. She has served as an Assistant Professor in the Theater Department at Kennesaw State University.
Some of her honors include Clan of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) Leadership Fellowship, Theater Communications Group (TCG) New Generations: Future Leaders Grant, Cornerstone Theater Visitor Paula Altvater Fellowship, LA Stage Brotherhood Ovations Fellowship and Arena Stage Fellowship.
McKenzi Swinehart
Grants & Services Manager, Greater Columbus Arts Council
As grants and services manager, McKenzi is responsible for implementing and overseeing grants programs, resources development and customs engagement. She leads the Project Support and Thrive grant processes and evaluation, manages the grant submission platform and team technology needs, oversees the Fellowship and Accolade portfolio and researches manufacture trends for strategic implementation in the department.
Prior to joining the Arts Council in 2017, McKenzi served every bit the managing director of programs and development at Reno Little Theater, where she designed and executed the overall fund development plan, engaged with donors and sponsors, and oversaw the educational outreach and accessibility programs. Laura Zabel is Executive Manager of Springboard for the Arts, an economic and customs development agency run past and for artists. Dedicated to helping communities connect to the creative power of artists, Springboard'south programs link artists to patrons, healthcare, entrepreneurial development, financial sponsorship, and more. Springboard operates Creative Exchange, a platform for sharing stories and helping artists and communities replicate successful development projects. Zabel speaks frequently on the power of inventiveness and artist-led customs development at events like the Aspen Ideas Festival and the Urban Land Constitute, while her insights take been featured in outlets from The Guardian to The New York Times.
